Does anyone know a way to track the clicks of an individual link on a page?

I have a file on my website for people to download and view. When people click the link, I want a counter or something that will tell me how many people have clicked that particular link?

Any thoughts?

How about having the download link take the user to one of those "Your download will start in 5 seconds screens" and on that page have PHP increment your counter by 1?
