Installing PHP onto win XP

Is it possible for me to install PHP onto my windows XP so i can write & test scripts completely off-line and then upload them?

Yes you can, there is an article on this site about setting up badblue and php(which I have done, dont want to use something bigger like apache).

I did follow the instructions of installing BadBlue...However...I am connecting to Interbet through a LAN ...
When i typed [url]http://localhost....It[/url] was not going to show the expected "Welcome" Screen
Similarly, when i typed http://127.0.0.1/100.100.100.136 (my IP) it said that the page could not be found..
So..what is the problem?
Can you help me?

i'm connecting thru LAN, but both local and the numbers work 4 me.

i'm having a problem!!

i go into cmd and into my mysql dir but when i type mysqld or anything like that i get an error of un recognised command, and it wont run it!

what can i do???
