If have made a long running job with php. The job is called with another form and when its done it gives the results. When its running you see the startup form. Because it runs so long I want the user to know that it is still running. Some counter will do. I allready tried something with java, but the result is only coming at the end off the job. At that time its not needed anymore.
Any suggestion is welcome. Wim

I have the same exact thing happen on my site. The reason you don't see the waiting page is because php has to finish parsing the page before any output is sent to the browser. So, what I did was to pop-up a window infront of the running php window that instructed the user to please wait. Then when the page finished, it closed the pop-up.
