Email and PHP-setup

Hello all,

I would like to know how to setup PHP to be able to email people. I am new to PHP and do not know how to setup the mail preferences. I do have PHP and SQL currently running, but I would like to add email. I do not need to receive ONLY send.

I do not know if it matters, but I am running Mac OS 10.2.

well as long as sendmail is installed just use

mail("to", "subject", "message", "from");

mail()
