how to save remote myslq dbase and open locally

I have saved my remotely hosted mysql dataqbase and saved to desktop as lockwoods.sql i.e. as an sql script

How can I open this in my local apache server, which already holds other databaeses.

(I can create a lockwoods locally but of course it doesn't then have all the tables and the data inside)

Use phpMyAdmin and 'upload file' from any SQL panel

or use mysql commandline:
