Garbage Collection in PHP ?

I am developing a site/script that is heavly dependent on classes and objects .. but I am realy now worried about all that objects swarming around inside the server memory ..

When is the object is automaticaly destroied if they are created inside a function call or if they are created in the main script thread .. ?

Is there any artical/docs/manual on this subject ?

as far as i know, php scripts are compiled on the fly if there is a request and memory is being freed right after the parsing of the whole script. i don't think you'll need any garbage collector; anyway, there is some garbage collecting needed if you are storing sessions. but that's not what you wanted, is it? 🙂

Last time I talked garbage collection is was dealing with JAVA. PHP is different in that the memory management is handled by the language itself. In high demand situations, such as large mysql queries, it is suggested that the vars be flushed for the sake of optimization. But from what I understand, it is not totally necessary since the vars are destroyed at the completion of the script.
