we have all seen that annoying adware crap.. where you visit a site and it downloads and installs software without you even doing anything. i was just wondering if its possible in php if so how?
actually it depends on the user's settings. If the user is set up to trust your domain you just link them to the executable. If the user is not then this will cause the pop-up box to happen.
PHP is just a fancy HTML writer.
Spyware/Adware is coded in Java's evil cousin, ActiveX.
