Dreamweaver MX keeps on adding code to <select> tags

When I use a <select> tag in Dreamweaver MX, it always changes it to <select mmTranslatedValueHiliteColor="HILITECOLOR=%22No Color%22">

How can I stop this from happening?

It should not be doing that. Whenever you see "mm", that stands for MacroMedia - so the program is showing some of its decompiled XML inside your HTML and it shouldn't be doing that.

You might have a defective copy of the program, or it might need a reinstall.
