Executing a php script with allias name[as we provided]

Dear All,

Is there any way to execute a php script with some alliasname

ex : I am having myscript.php in my directory of myserver

I have to use http://www.myserver.com/mydirectory/myscript.php
but is there any way to call like this

http://www.myserver.com/mydirectory/bvsureshbabu

where bvsureshbabu is the allias name to my php script myscript.php

actually we can do it in servlets and jsp but in php how can we do it.

If yes How can we configure the webserver.

Dear All,

I get one solution from my friend

we can create an index.php file and put it in a directory called "bvsureshbabu" and add include("myscript.php") in the index file.

As you know when you write "http://www.yoursite.com/bvsureshbabu" it will leave the URL as it is, but it will also open the index file so no one will know the true URL - If you're actually trying to hide the URL or what?

Providing information for any other way of configuring webserver is appreciated.
