Blob Parser

In a blob I have the following information

£2003:06:24:14.30 to 15.30:text1:test2£2003:07:13:15.30 to 16.30:texta:testb

That contains 2 data entrys £ = new entry

Year- 2003
Month - 06
Day - 24
Time - 14.30 to 15.30
Rcon - text1
Serverpass - test2

Year- 2003
Month - 07
Day - 13
Time - 15.30 to 16.30
Rcon - texta
Serverpass - testb

So when we look at $blob look for £ then split into $year,$month,$day,$time,$rcon,$serverpass

So how do I start to parse that information? Hope that make some sort of sense..
