PHP Lag - Any ideas???

Ok, I've already posted about this sometime ago but I wasn't very clear the first time cause I thought the problem might go away.... it didn't. Here it goes:

PROBLEM:
The PHP pages on two of my websites (both hosted on same server) take about 2min to load from my home computers. This includes simple commands like echo "hello"; and with no database interaction.
The HTML pages of these sites load normally.
This lag only happens from the two computers I have at home.
*PHP pages located on other sites (even on the hostserver site) load normally from my home computers.

ACTIONS:
I contacted the hostserver and they said everything seemed fine, and it was probably my internet connection. Even though I find that hard to believe, since the only PHP pages that present this lag are PHP pages hosted by them, I contacted my internet connection provider and they said everything was fine on their side too.

Would any of you guys have any ideas of why this is happening... my guess would be some configuration with PHP on the hostserver, but I'm not that familiar with setting up PHP.

I find that php pages with large sessions files usually have a longer turnaround time.

On my servers the session files take up about 1-2mb per client login and this sometimes take up to 5 seconds to load.

That may be an avenue for investigation.

If a simple

<?php
    echo "Hello world..";
?>

takes ages to load, and static pages doesn't, check:

1) The php/processor load on your ISP server you are hosted at
2) possibility of a reverse name lookup issue somewhere?

There are most probably other suggestions out there that would help you along - just my 2 cents.

I would think that if there was a problem with the php/processor load on my host ISP, then other computers would also experience lag when trying to access these specific PHP pages ... but in this case only my computers do.

The hostserver asked for a traceroute from my connection to the website so they could analyze it and they said it seemed to be fine.
