locking images

I am not sure if this is the correct place for this post but I am not sure where this will fall.

Does anyone know how you can lock images on an html/php page. I seen html pages out there don't allow you to download or drag off images from sites. It is as if they have them locked. Is this some kind of code attached or is it placed in a folder on a server that is locked? Any ideas how this is done?

I have seen it done in Javascript, but the user just has to turn off javascript in order to get around it. If you see a site that has them blocked and you aren't able to grab them by turning off javascript, post it.

excellent, that gives me a direction to go, at least for now. Not to be to greedy but is there anywhere I can find this script, I am not really very advanced at javascript, just use it in the most basic form. Hopeing to change that though.
