HTML tables without PHP

Hey people, I have a page that queryies an MySQL database using php and dumps the info into a table. Problem is my boss wants to view it on his blackberry and it doesnt support php. Is there anyway to take all the information and dump it into an HTML file? or maybe another alternative.

YOu could view the source of the page generated by php and save that for him.

stolzyboy: A Blackberry is a handheld, sort of like a Palm but not as widely used, though they are fairly popular in business and government. They are wireless and most (if not all) have email and/or web access.

Anyhow, Levans, you could use PHP to generate or write to an HTML file. I've only done a little of this before, so I will defer you to some information I found online. Basically you just need to use fopen, fputs and fclose. Here is a link I found from Google (and on this site) that may be useful: http://www.phpbuilder.com/mail/php-db/2001031/0106.php

You could also try finding a tutorial on editing text files, that may be useful as well.

Um... user user-agent DOESNT NEED TO SUPPORT PHP.

The output of a PHP page is no different from the output of a plain HTML page, you dont' need to do ANYTHING to get a PHP page to display on a Blackberry, we do it ALL THE TIME!

PHP is SERVER-SIDE, the Blackberry will not ever even know that the page is a PHP page, to it, its jsut HTML like everything else ( ASP, Perl, Java, C CGI, etc. )

i too heard blackberry for the frst time.. at frst it sounds like some fruit 😃 .. but now i got it !!! .yeah !!
