PHP and IFRAME

Hi,

I have a html page with lots of questions, each question has a link, all the answers are inside of a php file. When you click at a specific question, the answer shows inside of IFRAME page located at the bottom of the HTML page.

Everything is working great execpt that all the questions are on top of the html page and the iframe is located all the way at the bottom of this html page, since I have lots of questions, the iframe is located further down, which you need to scroll down in order to see the answer but nobody knows that the answer is further down.

My problem: when a click at the question, the screen does not change, it only adds the answer inside of the iframe located further down, my problem is that nobody knows that the answer is all the way at the bottom...

My question: how can I click the link, post the answer using php inside of iframe and, while doing all that, takes you there (at the bottom of html page)?

Hmmm...

Haven't tested this but I think it would work.

I would use Javascript to set the focus on your frame.

So your html page would have an Iframe with a name or an id.

then in your php script output a javascript line that sets the focus to that frame.

If your iframe is named "frame1" then the php output might be something like

echo "<script language=javascript>document.frame1.focus();</script>";

Like I said untested but an idea.

You also might want to call the anwers to show up in a popup window then you can set it's location and you know that people will see it.
