PHP editor recommends ?

Notepad just ain't cutting it anymore so I'm looking for a cheap PHP editor, color syntax highlighting and all that.

Any recommends from you developers out there? (My Google search didn't bring up much, except a $179 dev package.)

I could almost write one myself, but why reinvent the wheel, right ?

well, download the PHP source code, and use that syntax highlighting stuff in it and write your own program with syntax highlighting. free, and educational at the same time.
