Check if date exisited code?

I was wondering how to calculate if a certain day was in the month in a particular year, such as how Feb has different amounts of days. Also, I know I'm ignorant, but is there a list of how many days are in each month, and do they stay the same every year?

the only month that changes days would be February, it is normally 28 days, but on leap year, which would be 2004, then every 4th year after that, ie 2008, 2012, etc.... it has 29.

30 days hath September, April, June, and November, all the rest have 31, except February with 28, and 29 on Leap Year

This will give you the number of days in the current month. You can use this with mktime to find previous / future months.
