time() and email()

Since we moved from Apache to IIS, I notice I cannot get my functions, time() and email(), to work anymore. We also recently changed to PHP 4.2.2. Im sure the issue is with IIS. Any suggestions?

Firstly do you mean mail(); as there isnt an email() function within the php docs.

Time on the other hand might be two things

IIS which id say probably would be as time is a unix timestamp.

time is a disabled function. To check create a file with phpinfo(); and check on disabled functions.

Mail needs to have an SMTP installed. and set up correctly within the php.ini file to work. Otherwise you'll get mail errors.

Try using it online it should work. Also check that mail() function is not disabled as well..

Well test it on a web server online and see if the mail function works there.... But like i said mail doesnt work if you dont have SMTP installed.
