Ok... I just reread my post and it sounded VERY condescending. I apologize. It was 2:23am, for Chrissakes...

I realize it seems easy to me because I know the answer... I just don't like to give it away. I believe it's more rewarding to figure it out if the clues are harder. Perhaps they are too hard LOL

If you give up, just PM me and I'll point you in the right direction. I can't just tell you, but I'll give you a truly easy hint if you want.

The answer:
The CUP represents UPC, so I searched the UPC code. It is Mountain Dew Code Red. The colour is red.

Well where is it? It's supposed to be an something you can find with a browser...

Very good, Merve! Congratulations!

LordShryku, once you realize (through my clues) that the number I gave you was a UPC code (E version, by the way. The 12 digit symbol is the A version), you can do a google search for UPC lookup. That will eventually lead to many different UPC pages, one of which is the UPC Database. Once there, you can do a lookup for the UPC code I gave you, and find out that it's Mountain Dew Code Red, specifically the 24 oz plastic bottles.

McKinley = Mountain
"wet in the morning" = Dew
enrypted = Code
color = Red

Good Job, Merve. Your turn!

Okay. I don't know if my hunt will be too hard or too easy...so hold on tight.

You have to find two webpages...have fun!

My first clue comes in the form of a part of a story....enjoy:

James lifted the load of firewood. He was sweating and his face was blown up like a balloon.
"That load boggin' ya down?"
James turned around to see his younger brother Daniel holding a pile of firewood.
"We gotta gather this stuff, father said so," said Daniel, his arms shaking, as if he was about to explode.
"We'll walk together," James managed to say.
They reached the farmhouse and deposited the load outside the door. Entering the house, they wiped their foreheads with their shirt sleeves. They sat down at the kitchen table, where their father was seated, reading the newspaper.
"Hello boys," he said, "How was your little trip?"
" 'was okay," said James stiffly.
"Father," whined Daniel, "why'd'we hafta work so damn hard? Why're we so poor?"
"We're not poor," said their father, "We are farmers. We work hard. We work the land."
"Then why'd'we live like them poor people?" said Daniel, "Why ain't more stuff free? Why's stuff so damn expensive?"
Their father sighed. "Money helps the world go 'round."
"It ain't fair." Tears streamed down Daniel's face. "There's them rich people, flautin' their wealth, transferrin' their money from bank account to bank account, smokin' their fat lil' cigars, filin' away cheque after cheque. It ain't fair! It ain't fair!"
James spoke. "There's no way we'll win by complainin'. Let's go read that book you like so much."
And with that they left the kitchen.

Can you find the clues? They're hidden well. More clues will probably follow. Sometimes the words are hidden very randomly. I'm looking for two webpages...so if you've got one but not the other I'll say that you haven't got it in the thread, but I'll PM you and tell you you're on the right track (just so that this doesn't take forever).

If you think it's against the rules to have two webpages to hunt for, let me know and I'll reduce it to one...you have to have one or the other...but for now it's 2...okay?

Forgive my bumping, but is anyone going to try to figure this one out? If not, we'll just let this thread die....

Second installment of the story:

"It ain't fair," said Daniel, "Them rich people livin' the high life."
"I know," said James, "You can't win, so come play...chess or something."
"They got money, they's so damn mean, can't give a damn cent to those who need it."
"Money may come, voraciously eating everything good in its path, until there's nothing left good, s'all bad," said James, "The love of money is the root of all evil."
"Your wisdom's confusing."
"Yeah maybe if they'd just RTFM and STFW they'd get the answer."
"You're out of context."
"Whoops."

Hope this new clue helps. You have to only find one out of two pages, okay?

Uhhh...noo....

Clue #3:
One relates to Linux, the other relates to Windows. Read each segment of the story over carefully.
