mysql select

ok, ive been playing with this for an hour now..

the database field productUpgradesProdID contains a comma delimited string (like "1,2,3")

Im trying to do a select if a value is in there... like in this case $save_prodid = "1"

(productaccessory is just true or false)

I tried:

$sql = "SELECT * FROM product_inventory
WHERE productAccessory and ($save_prodid IN (productUpgradesProdID))

which i thought should work....

Are you sure the "productAccessory" is true in whichever row you are trying to recieve? Because in theroy, looking at what you have should work.

I figured it out.

WHERE productAccessory=1 and productUpgradesProdID REGEXP \"^{$save_prodid,|,$save_prodid,|,$save_prodid$|$save_prodid$\"}

you have to have all 4 at the end to accomidate 1 not = 11
