Hi all
I've got a mySQL db with messages. I've set the table so it has a messageId and a replyto field. messageId is autoincrement. the reply to is 0 for original messages and then the reply to gets the messageId number of the message is replying to (ie. messageId 1 has 0 in replyto field and say, messageId 4,7and 10 has 1 in the replyto field indicating they are replies to message 1. and messageId 15,20 and 30 have replyto of 4 indicating they are replies to messageId 4 and so on so forth...
I am going mad trying to get a simple way to list a branch of the messages.(messageId 1 and all its branches).
Any help would be welcome.
