Session problem

Hi guys,
I need to know why does the browser ask me to
refresh the page every time I move between my pages.

  I am using sessions is there any way that I can stop

this from happening.

not if you trying to go back or forward to a page that needed information sent to it from a form, it will always try and resubmit the information

don't think so, but we're both guessing since we haven't seen any code

My code is about 50 pages of code but there is only one page
is showing up and the other pages are being called from that one

I made a site like that, a bunch of includes, hehe each page included was only about 5-10 lines though 😃

that's great, don't suppose you could track it down to a code snippet, could ya, but i still think my first post is the problem, whenever you go somewhere after posting data, and you go back to that page, it will want to resend the data to mimick the exact workings of how the page behaved before

So what do you think is the solution for that problem

first of all you need to make sure that is the problem, are you displaying results from pages with form submissions, if so, maybe you should think about passing information thru the query string, that way, nothing is being submitted (formally anyway), it is merely being passed

will, I'm using both (Forms and Query_string)
but I can not send every thing in the query_string

it keeps giving me this

Warning: Page has Expired

well that is just something you are going to have to work around, that is the way the browsers work when passing information with a form, and without seeing or knowing more of what you are doing, i can't tell you what else to do

I mostly use Links (Anchers) to view the pages and even without
using any forms it does that.
90 % of my pages are being opened using anchers
not even forms.

Assuming this is a problem with sessions and your browser, give this a shot.

Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, check these settings:

For IE6+

Goto Tools -> Internet Options
Select the Privacy Tab
Under the Settings box, click the Advanced button
Check the box that says Override automatic cookie handling and check the box that says Always allow session cookies

Click ok -> ok then restart the browser.

It resolved half of the problem.
the rest is coming from using forms
