Which Windows Binary do I need?

I am starting to work through the PHP book I bought some time ago, and have discovered there are a couple newer versions of PHP out. I have installed 4.3.1 on my XP Pro Windows system. I am NOT using the IIS from XP but have instead installed Apache 2.0.45

So when I went to download the newer verison of PHP there are two Windows Binaries and I haven't a clue which I should use.

PHP 4.3.3 zip package [6,180Kb] - 25 August 2003
(CGI binary plus server API versions for Apache, Apache2

PHP 4.3.3 installer [1,045Kb] - 27 August 2003
(CGI only, MySQL support built-in, packaged as Windows installer to install and configure PHP, and automatically configure IIS, PWS and Xitami, with manual configuration for other servers.

Which do I use and any tips on the upgrade/install?

I suggest just the zip package. It contains everything you need, and you just move a couple files to your %SYSTEM_ROOT, edit the conf file to your liking, move it to %SYSTEM_ROOT, and you're set. Tons of articles on the net to help you with this.
