view pdf and download pdf

Say I have a pdf document. And I have two links to that pdf.

One is called "view the document", when it is clicked, the pdf document will be displayed on the browser. This is OK

Another one is called "download", when this one is clicked, it should not be displayed on the browser, it should show the download box and reader can choose to download. How can I do that?

have something like this as your link

e.g.

page.php?action=view //have a header to view pdf file

page.php?action=download

then on the bit to download

the header should be this

header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=downloaded.pdf");
