invisible '$'... parse error

Hi all.

I keep getting this parse error, complaining about unexpected '$' at the end of the script.
When I check it, there is no '$'. I erased the last line and tried to see what happened. '$' still there...

It seems to me that there is no way that I can get rid of it.
Does anyone know who to fix this problem besides typing up the whole script?

That error usually means that you are missing a closing brace somewhere, make sure you have just as many } as you have {

Is it so even though the line number that is specified in the error is the last line, which is closing of php code '?>' ?

yes... it keeps looking for the closing brace until the end of the script, then creates/generates the error on that line
