PHP Contact Form

Hi, I am fairly average at PHP, so I am looking for some help finding a PHP script that will allow me to do what I want it to do in a contact form. I have set up a contact form with various fields, some of which I require to be completed, so they need to be validated, including an email and phone field. I also have drop down fields where the user can select which department they want to email, and what subject the email is about. The values of the departments emails are the emails they are to go to. Is there a script out there that will allow the user to submit this form, validate it, allow the user to preview it, and if it is wrong, go back and edit it, or if it is right send it to the department they selected? I need the script to show errors and redirect to a successful page at the end. And it would be good to send an autoresponder back to the site visitor.

Can anyone help me? I know I am asking a lot!

If you're 'fairly average' at PHP, this should be no problem for you at all.

You'll need to look into PHP's predefined variables ( $GET, $POST ) and the section in the PHP manual about variables from outside of PHP.

You'll also need the mail() function to send email.

YOu can check to see if things are set with isset() and checking if strlen() > 0 among many other methods.

Start writing some code and post back if you have specific questions.
