multiple updates

I'vre got a recordset being displayed in a repeated region and i want the user to be able to select check boxes next to certain rows and then click a bulk function button, which updates a particular field in the selected rows - a bit like hotmails delete function, where you check all the messages you want to delete then press the 'Delete selected' button.

Anybody know how to do this or point me in the right direction of a tutorial etc? TIA

Do you know how to do checkboxes with PHP? If so, it's pretty easy. On the page, itterate through your $_POST data (with array_values() -- see php.net for syntax and examples of that function)..

So, some psuedo code..

foreach( array_value($_POST) as $post_number )
{
mysql_query("DELETE FROM tblTable WHERE fldPostNumber=" . $post_number . " LIMIT 1");
}
