Need serious help

I have been trying to send email vrom localhost.
I am using php on windows 98.

I placed this question almsot in all forums (many replies came out) but I could not get it working.

Shortly
Problem : I want to send email from my localhost

Question : How can do that, if anything needs to be congiured in php.ini or anything else please answer me.

I request serious developers only to answer me urgently.

what is the webserver...using win98 doesn't tell us much...if using PWS (personal web server) then there is no SMTP server included with the webserver...if using IIS then there is an SMTP server included...

to use your ISPs mail server, contact your ISP and ask if you can use there server, and change the ini file to reflect the path to that mail server (usually mail.ISPName.com or something like that)
