have error in installing the php-4.3.1

Hi to all,

I am installing the php-4.3.1 on redhat linux 9.

i ma trying to configure it by typing

./configure --prefix=/www/php --with-apxs2=/www/bin/apxs --with-config-file-path=/www/php --enable-sockets --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-zlib-dir=/usr/local --with-gd

but i always get the next message

configure: error: libpng.(a|so) not found
