HELP! Can't Get Cookie Working!

Hi guys,

I have just started learning PHP, and I am trying to get a style switcher working, so people can change the theme on my website. I have it set so using a POST form command it changes style, and I want it to set a cookie and remember that style for future visits, or even for the next page 🙁

P.S. The $n variable is used to keep the user on their current page, since $n loads a certain page inset in a table. Don't mind it.

Clean your code up a bit. Indent. Don't always use short tags for each line of code.

Ok,
thanks for helping clean it up, but something has to be wrong with the code, I get a

"Notice: Undefined index: style3 in C:\Documents and
Settings\Jason\Desktop\Xitami\webpages\index.php on line 4"

error, and it won't make a cookie, or load a default stylesheet (should load "a" by default.

Please help me guys.

I tried that code, and it gives me all kinds of errors with undefined variables, etc, etc; I think this code is beyond repair.

Anyone else who has read this thread, I'm willing to use total different code; I need help making it so putting links can set a .css style, preferably with a php variable, and also make a cookie that can be checked every time a page is loaded for that user's favorite style.

A little background information:
The site is for a school club, robotics, and while I'd like to get this working, it isn't a top priority right now, I mean, we can try to work this out, but don't get overly concerned with solving it.

That and it doesnt work again. lol

It appears like that's the right code, everything seems to be working fine, except one minor detail.

MY SERVER WON'T SET THE COOKIE!!!

This is not your fault, your code appears to be faultless, but for some reason, my server won't make a cookie, and therefore, can't change the style.

Someone please help me, where would there be a problem with my server not creating cookies? I am using Xitami, latest version, and I think everything is set right. It isnt my browser, I'm on IE 6 with all cookies accepted, and it also doesn't work on a few other computers.

Anyone with experience using Xitami or just plain has had this problem, tell me what to do....

Back to basics...see the settings with phpinfo().

Look in there for anything on cookies. Post anything here that might look like it has anything to do with cookies.

Or, this might work: change the path of your cookie to "/" from "http://team186.ath.cx".
