Scripts that write things in a file dont work on my server

Scripts that write things in a file or have to remember wont work on my server

I use windows 2003 server and PHP 4.3.3

I have some scrips that have to write some some data in a file.dat this works great on my Windows XP computer but when i upload the same script on my server its doesn't work anymore.

Other scrips that dont write anything works fine. and i do have write read permisions set in the homepage settings

What could this be????

has the file been created on the server.. also what is the error your getting.

No it opens a file and then supposed to write in it but it doesn't, i dont get a error and it even looks like the script doesn't work

On the top of your script put

error_reporting(E_ALL);

it wont just do that, it will normally give you an error or error of something before it.
