authorize.net hash question

hi all,
i have the php scripts provided by authorize.net for the hashing .... i figured they used the mhash to do the md5 hash for the key etc... but these scripts were published (apparently) before the php function md5() was introduced in 4.2.0 so i'm wondering if somebody knows if now the md5() is enough for them without the need to install and recompile php with the mhash libs....

Are you referring to the simlib.php script?

I'm trying to get my integration done, and the same thing wouldn't work.

So I called Authorize.Net and the one Tech said there is a "special version" of the script which includes everything you need. It works fine for me (at least that part of things).
