Code Managment under PHP

I've been searching far and wide, all over the place for this.
Where can i find a PHP & mySQL system, that can be used in a small working environment, for code managment purposes?

The main project consists of game engine development using MSVS C++ .NET. Of course there are a lot of tools for code managment out there, but they are either super-expensive, too low on options, or would require us to change some of our workflow infra-structure.

A PHP & mySQL solution would be great, even more if we where free to slighty alter its code, to offer greater integration with our internal website.

We would use this PHP database system to handle things like, feature requests, bug tracking, history, even backing up classes/files.

If this already exists somewhere, please point me in the rigth direction,

hmm....interesting.......... someone who uses .NET asking for a PHP solution? well i guess it's not web .NET but still........

anyways, no sorry i don't. i have never had any need to organize code more than a simple directory structure so i can't give you any tips... but i'm sure google will turn up something if it exists 🙂

google search returns a lot of nonsense, like managing code for php, etc...

let me make sure I understand something.

1) You're using .NET
2) .NET comes with source safe
3) you're looking for an alternative to source safe because of the price of source safe??

of course we didnt take this route without thinking it through...
Source Safe is great, but we really want something we can break into sections.

Artists don't need to know that the singleton AAZ has a memmory leak, but it is already scheduled to get fixed on friday.

They do need however, to know that the rendering will start to support the latest in shader technology next week...

Of course we are not looking for a tool that does all of this.
We are looking for something that is partially built, but that we can add modules to, and work, so that it integrates seamlessly with our work flow strategy.

it sounds to me like you should go custom from the ground up.

You need something that has sections and then a person can only view the stuff in their sections(s). Then you need a forum type thing, like a bug tracker, for each section and a spot where there is a code repostiory.

Seriously, I'd sugest custom code for this.
