[Resolved] Inserting commas every 3 digits

Hi all, is there a function I can use to insert commas into a numeric variable? Lets say i run a calculation and get this number...

800000

id like it to look like this

800,000

If theres no function ill look into string parsing i guess 😕

see number_format()

defaults to english notation w/ comma every 3 digits so just do
$number = 800000;

$newNumber = number_format($number);

echo $newNumber; // echos 800,000
