can't replace "\" !!

hi.

i wanna replace

$find = "e:\phpdev\www\server\phpmywebmin pro_uploads"

with nothing in

$aaa = "e:\phpdev\www\server\phpmywebmin pro_uploads\admin _uploads\super sache.wav"

but it doesn't work. 🙁 how can i do that?
i use

ereg_replace($find,"",$aaa);
