sort from a flat file

could someone give me a hint about how to sort the array by age? do i need to create a new array to sort it or i just need add some codes? Thanks a lot in advance!!

What you need to do is explode $temarray into a multidimensional array ie:

$exploded = array(array(),array(),array());

for ($i=0; $i<$countfile; $i++)
{
// split up each line
$fields = explode("\t", $temarray[$i]);

// save each field val into our multi array
$exploded[0][] = $fields[0]; //name
$exploded[1][] = $fields[1]; //address
$exploded[2][] = $fields[2]; //age
}

You should then be able to use:

array_multisort($exploded[2],SORT_NUMERIC, SORT_DESC);
// or SORT_ASC

and the array will be sorted by age.

I havn't tried the above but I believe that is one way of doing it.

i have made a script where in i assigned each value to an array

Yup","Ill need to think about that","Better not tell you now","There's a slight Chance","Definitely!","Of course!","Are you crazy!?!","No!","Yes!","Maybe","Possibly","No Way!","No Siree!","As If!","If I told you.. I'd have to kill you","Hell Yeah!","Not a chance in hell!","Undoubtly yes..!","Absolutely","Absolutely not..","No! What are you crazy?","That's a big yes!","No way buddy!");
