Error reporting when warnings are turned off

Hi

I have a site on hosting which does not display any error or warning messages. My problem is I have a script that works fine locally when testing and works occasionally on my hosting. They refuse to acknowledge a problem and say they don't provide customer support on scripting issues.

Anyway whenever my script fails I get a blank page, nothing to indicate what the problem is. How can I get an error displayed

You may be able to force some error reporting by adding an error_reporting(E_ALL) to the top of the page.
