Update Cookies!!!

I have searched the net and I have searched this forum and I can't find anything that describes how to update a cookie.
I am setting one cookie with various values in it and I'm am using explode to get the values out of it. I would like to update the values in my cookie but when I use setcookie again it gives me the error:
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by

So I have no trouble, setting, reading, and deleting my cookie, I just cant figure out how to update it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That error is normally caused by having something printed or echo'd before the setcookie command. Cookies must be set before any output, so make sure that its the first thing that your script does. 🙂
