blank page???

Having an interesting problem, and I don't know if it's related to the board or to my computer.

When I click on some forums or threads, sometimes I get a blank page. Refreshing will usually clear it up, but sometimes even after refreshing all I see on the screen is </body></html>. It's like the whole page isn't sent to me. After refreshing again, it's fine.

It's a bit annoying. Do you think the problem is the board? If so, what can we do? If not, what do you think is causing it.

are you getting header information also sometimes, etc...

i have talked to the admin (jstarkey) before you posted this he is checking into it

Ya know Buzz....I've been having that problem for two days now. I was thinking it may have something to do with doubleclick or the new IBM ad. But hell, what do I know?

I've had this happen on another site, I've been trying to remember what the cause was.

So I haven't had this problem for a little while. Dunno about BuzzLy though. Figure out what it was?

I still have it from time to time. If it's a certain ad causing it, I don't know, since the page doesn't load. It's frustrating, but not catastrophic. But it might cause new users to not visit, since they might not think to just hit refresh when the page doesn't load...

Yeah, I occasionally get it, but just clicking refresh just loads up the page.

i've been getting db errors everywhere, right now infact the home page has db errors

Yeah, I saw the db errors too. Right now, going to the /boards url will prompt for a download of index.php....which will actually download the code.

Looks like the DB errors are gone too....sooooo I'm going back to my non-jetpack Tiger Woods 2004 🙂
