Is there an Automated way of doing these two things using PHP and MySQL?

Hi Everyone,

I would like to randomly and automatically pick a single person from a database each day, let’s say at twelve-midnight or something. Then I would like the database automatically emptied so that all new data would have to be entered the following day.

Would this be a hard thing to do?

it's about a 10 line php script set up as a cron job (or scheduled in windows) so that it runs every night. It would probably take about 15 minutes to write it.
