Problems with time format

I know how to take a sql time and format it to a different time, but how do I take a time in 12 hour format, for instance 4:15pm and change that into something I can insert into mysql?

This works, it will give you a MySQL timestamp for 4:15pm with the Year, Month and Day being today...
