My company has a couple of Symbol PDAs with Windows CE (Pocket PC), and we have need of running a self-contained web server on the PDAs (it has an integrated wireless scanner, and our internal system is run on a PHP/Apache/MySQL-based web interface). I have found ApacheCE and PocketMysqlAdmin for WinCE, but I have yet to find a PHP solution for CE. Basically, I want to simulate our Linux server on this Pocket PC, which I know is sacrilegious, but when a company has an application for it, you've got to do what works best with what you have.
Does anyone have any leads on who has developed or might now be developing PHP for WinCE/Pocket PC? I have searched very extensively on the web, only to find teases that there MAY be a solution out there, but no real results.
BTW, a FREE solution is preferable, 🙂 but not mandatory - a solution, period, is what I need.
