session variable problems ...

hi,

i'm posting variables from a form to a php script which is producing a graph. This goes well but when i want to print the graph the content is reset.

I got the suggestion to use sessions to get this working , no luck so far.

This is some of the code within the graph producing script :

$ddds1 = $_SESSION['dds1'];

$datum=getdate();
$maand=$datum["mon"];
$jaar = $datum["year"];

What am i doing wrong ??

Where are variables such as $ms1 coming from? The form? If so, use $POST["ms1"] or $GET["ms1"] depending on how you passed them to the page.

Yes, this data is being posted by another page which contains a form. No special php code is added there. This results in a html line like <FORM NAME="pol" ACTION="printflow.php" METHOD=POST >

I've tried your suggestion but this does not work. I added the $_POST item to the form , do i need to do something else in the receiving script other then is shown in my first message ??

as i understand the printing routine for some browsers is fetching the data agian.

As i said the data is shown right.

You don't add the $_POST to the form itself. What I was referring to was putting it like so:

This did not help either, i'm getting the following error :

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: array() in /www/htdocs/corforma/interactive/Corforma_Interactive/Flow_Pipe___Visual_Tools/printflow.php on line 3

This is in the line $SESSION['mms1'] = $POST["ms1"];
