Corrupted File

Hi All!

I have a very difficult problem ,  I have apche on windows2kserver. One of my senior created some PHP files and is gone now, The files run perfectly but when i am trying to see the files uisng notepad or word pad or any PHP editor i am not able to see source code.

I am able to see some junk values and special character but the files run perfectly in the browser.

Puzzeled!!!!!!!!!!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

what kind of system are they housed on?

coulde be an OS line return or character set conflict.
