Problem with attated file with mail

Hi,

I try to send an email (html format) with attached file

this is my script:

$to = $row ['EMAIL'];;
$from = "[e-mail]";
$subject = "Flu Vaccination, as discussed...";

$fileatt_type = "doc";
$fileatt_name = "FluFactshee.doc";

$headers = "From: $from";

$file = fopen($fileatt_name,'rb');
$data = fread($file,filesize($fileatt_name));
fclose($file);

I get the attached file, but the html tags just displayed, and not working.
Any ideas what is the problem?
