i want to use my local win2000 machine that runs apache and php and mysql to send emails from php scripts, ive been stuck on this for months now and cant work out how to do it.
When i change the php.ini file SMTP and sendmail_from addresses to my ISP email it rejects the mail and gives me server error.
Anyone know how i can setup a mail server so i can send mail from my computer to test scripts i write without having to upload them to the remote server all day long?
if you know, can you tell me where and how to get the stuff needed or how to do it.
