Well, if you didn't write the script yourself, it could be calling it. "I have a script" doesn't say really who wrote it, so it'd be hard to know, eh?
Another thought, is "auto session start" enabled in php.ini, or is a session_start call made in a header file that's included either by your script or via auto_prepend?
