Build a Blank Verse Poem

In light of all the other threads (4-word story, limerick, word association) I present you the 'Build a Blank Verse Poem' thread. Just write one line that seems half-poetic (or fully poetic) and you're on your way...one gigantic nonsenical poem! It's way more fun than porn!

To start it off:
The roses blew in the midnight sun,

Thorns scathed skin allow blood to run

So, what's the price of a bus ticket to nowhere?

JFF, I ignore any metrical rules, also...
