easy search question

im totally lame still at php 🙂 so i need some help.

im trying to write a little script to connect to a mysql db and search a desciption field for the input text, and i want to return the results as the description, the file name, and the link. anybody want to help me.. ive gotten as far as making a connection to the database 🙂
