As to the OP's question; I can't think of a good reason that I'd switch my operations to ASP, but I wouldn't mind to learn about it...and prolly pretty quick.
I'm going for a prelim conversation with a business next week whose site is all in ASP/Java and cough frames. I have no idea what I'm gonna tell 'em they need to do...I have a feeling they want me to revamp what's there instead of rewriting everything (and, probably, moving the server...)
I think the problem with being a "one man show" is the fact that there's a million guys out there developing new toys, um, technology every day, and no way you can know it all. If it were a conference, and the company's paying, I'd say "go for it."
For reading a doc, if you got nothing better to do at bedtime ...
/me heads over to netcraft to figure out what they're running on now .... prolly PWS on Win98 😃
[edit]Tee hee, I'm becoming a psychic, heh "The site blahblah.com is running Microsoft-IIS/4.0 on NT4/Windows 98."
