Hello,

Ive created a simple forum for my site and its running just fine, the thing is Ive seen alot of forums were when you display the thread titles it shows a set of numbers or the pages.

Example: Fourm Testing...1 2 3

like if I click on 1 it takes me to the first page but if I click on 2 it takes me to the second page...

Anyone know a simple way to do this?

I wonder if I could use the post number to creat this it would make life eaiser

"$countstr = $row["FReplies"];"

the above is what I like to use, FReplies has the numbers of post replies. like 40 post 4 posts etc.. just a number

I belive the way they do it is...

say $num_post is the number of posts

$num_post = 40

we want to display 10 pages per page.

$num_of_pages = $num_post / 10

$num_of_pages will equal 4.

run a loop to display 1-4

and then in the sql use limit 10, 10 for the first page, limit 10, 20 for the second one(i might have reversed the limit thing).. e.t.c
